The owner of a growing business ends up running operations by default: the process, the people, the hiring, the week. A fractional COO takes that role for part of the time a full-time one would, inside the business. At Bidaya the role is one scope of the executive layer, run alongside setup, finance and tech by one firm, rather than a seat on its own.
What it covers
The way the business runs when the owner isn't in the room. Process written down for the work that repeats: delivery, handover, variations, quality. The people plan and the hiring roadmap: who is needed next, by when, and what they'll do. The hires themselves, from the role description to the offer. The review rhythm: a weekly format the team runs, and a monthly one the owner reads. And the registers that keep the company out of trouble: renewals, expiries, obligations.
What it costs
Monthly engagements from AED 12,000. What sits above the floor depends on scope: operations alone, or operations with finance and tech inside one engagement. Project work, such as writing the process and the registers for a business and handing them over, is scoped and quoted after the call.
When you don't need one
When the business has fewer than a handful of people and the owner can still hold the week in their head. Then the answer is process written down and a review format, both of which Where you stand hands you with the method. When the business is past that, the question is whether one defined piece of work covers it or the role needs to be there monthly. The read will tell you which; so will the call.

What is a fractional COO?
An operations executive engaged for part of the time a full-time one would give, inside the business, with the authority and the reporting of the role. At Bidaya the role is engaged monthly on thirty days' notice, and the first month carries no notice.
Fractional COO or operations manager?
An operations manager runs the day. A COO decides how the day should run, builds the process and the team, and reports to the owner on whether it's working. Businesses usually need the second before they can afford the first full-time.
Does Bidaya place a COO in my company?
No. Bidaya is the executive layer as a firm: one firm doing the work, with a bench of licensed specialists included where the work needs them. The client has one firm to call, and the work is handed back in a form that runs without us.
How long does it take to see the difference?
We don't promise what a month will deliver. We publish the terms instead: a first month with no notice, and thirty days' exit on every engagement. The client decides whether it's working, monthly.
Can I start with a project instead?
Yes. One defined piece of work is a full outcome, not a step toward a monthly engagement. Many businesses need the process built once and then run it themselves.
